This recipe, crafted by Justin Galligan at Ostras Tapas & Bottleshop in Ashland, Oregon, uses Naumes Suncrest Winery Verjus for a tangy and refreshing straight up margarita. This cocktail is perfect by itself or paired with light appetizers.

  • 1 1/2 oz Tequila
  • 1 1/2 oz Naumes Suncrest Winery Verjus
  • 3/4 oz Cointreau
  • 1/4 oz Agave Syrup
  • 1/4 oz Mezcal


  • Stir Tequila, Verjus, Cointreau, and Agave Syrup together.
  • Serve with a large ice cube or straight up.
  • For a little something extra, float a 1/4 oz of Mezcal on top.
